PRESS RELEASE: Frolic in the ?ark 2026

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Frolic in the ?ark Returns to Fenway, Bringing Together 800+ Cannabis Industry Leaders from all over the world for one historic night in Boston’s favorite landmark.

Boston, MA — April 24, 2026 — The second annual Frolic in the Park transformed Fenway Park into a one-of-a-kind gathering of over 800 people from around the world, including business owners, industry leaders, pioneers, and decision-makers, following day 1 of this year’s New England Cannabis Convention.

Set against one of the most iconic backdrops in sports and culture, the invite-only event delivered an unforgettable evening that blended high-level networking with immersive art, music, and celebration—further cementing its place as one of the most anticipated post-NECANN experiences in the country.

Guests were welcomed into a reimagined Fenway Park, where they were greeted by multiple musical performances, interactive art installations, live cannabis testing demonstrations and exclusive access to World Series trophies, creating an atmosphere that was equal parts elevated and electric. With the Boston skyline as its canvas and perfect spring weather overhead, the night captured the energy of a city—and an industry—on the rise.

And the people in the room have a lot to celebrate, featured sponsor Bountiful Farms solidified their mark in the industry, their corner of Fenway ?ark showcased a display of nearly 20 trophies including those from Cultivators Cup, NECANN Cup and various other competitions from the last 5 years. New Dia Cannabis Co. was in the house, celebrating their big win, being named best dispensary in Massachusetts by the NECANN Cup for the second year in a row.

Now in its second year, Frolic in the ?ark continues to grow as a cultural and professional touchpoint for the cannabis community. The event is designed not just to connect leaders, but to normalize and elevate the perception of the cannabis industry, showcasing the professionalism, creativity, and influence of those shaping its future.

“This event is about more than networking—it’s about visibility,” said Mike Whittaker, COO and Co-Founder of The Weedaker Group. “Bringing together leaders from across the industry in a setting as iconic as Fenway Park sends a clear message: this industry is here, it’s thriving, and it’s part of the broader cultural fabric.”

By blending business, culture, and community in a setting traditionally reserved for historic moments, Frolic in the ?ark reinforces the importance of destigmatizing cannabis and celebrating the people behind it.

“Standing in one of the country’s most iconic sports venues alongside hundreds of fellow cannabis professionals perfectly encapsulated how far our industry has come. We’ve still got a long way to go in this industry to get the recognition and legality we need on the federal level, but events like this are a signpost of the progress that we’ve made and the momentum we have” Jon Purow.

As the cannabis industry continues to evolve, events like Frolic in the ?ark are playing a critical role in bridging the gap between legacy, innovation, and mainstream acceptance—all while delivering an experience that feels distinctly Boston. Co-Founders of The Weedaker Group, Jordan MacKenzie Whittaker and Mike Whittaker grew up in and around Boston, they are both Social Equity Applicants in Massachusetts, and are actively pursuing the social consumption license type to bring consumption to these types of events.

With overwhelming demand and continued growth, The Weedaker Group anticipates an even larger return to the iconic Boston landmark in 2027.
