The show is featuring 5 local\, latine artists\, from Lawrence\, MA\, as we highlight Hispanic Heritage Month. \n“Aquí y Allá (Here and There) is a group exhibition spotlighting visual artists from Lawrence\, Massachusetts — one of New England’s most densely Caribbean cities — whose work channels Dominican and Puerto Rican heritage through painting\, illustration\, and mixed media. Curated by Christian Rodriguez (Techni)\, the show features Wilfred Acosta\, Michelle Collado\, Chelsea Tyler Marrero\, and David Santana\, kids of the diaspora born to parents from Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic who have each lived in or spent extensive time on the islands themselves. Marking the first time this group is entering Boston together\, the show represents both \nLawrence’s art scene and the heritage and culture their families carried into it — work rooted as much in Lawrence’s mill-town streets as in the islands that shaped it.” \nCelebrate with us\, connect with the artists and consume the culture.
